Diane is a Certified Scrum Master and Certified Scrum Product Owner through Scrum Alliance, Inc. Diane is also a Grant Professional Certified (GPC) and Approved Trainer of the Grant Professionals Association.
Diane’s passion for building capacity in nonprofit organizations is the link between her early career work as a grantmaker and now as a nonprofit consultant. Diane and her team at DH Leonard Consulting & Grant Writing Services have secured more than $61.6 million dollars since 2006 in competitive grant awards for their clients. The team began utilizing the Scrum framework in 2016 both to run their own teams, and also to help their nonprofit clients improve their grant seeking processes and overall operations efficiency. As a result of adopting Scrum, the daily operations and efficiency of the DH Leonard Consulting team has significantly improved and more importantly, their nonprofit clients that are engaged in the Scrum framework have seen an increase in their success percentage for applications as well as overall dollars awarded.
When not working with her team on improving the capacity of nonprofit organizations, Diane can be found in the 1000 Islands, out for a run, or drinking a strong cup of coffee.
Erich is a Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Certified Scrum @ Scale, and Certified Scrum in Hardware Trainer.
Erich is an experienced Enterprise Agile Coach and Director of Agile Practice in railroad and automotive system design, development, and deployment. Erich has been coaching and facilitating agile-minded teams since his days on the Cornell University Formula SAE team as an undergraduate. Erich supports the curriculum development and training work of Agile in Nonprofits bringing in experiences from a wide range of team and business settings.
Erich is passionate about using Scrum in all elements of his life, so when not focusing on helping businesses succeed and create greater impact, better products, and happier customers with Scrum, he can be found using Scrum to coach the First Lego League community team the Heritage Hi-Techs of middle school students.
Marketing and Training Coordinator
Megan serves as the Marketing and Training Coordinator for our team at DH Leonard Consulting & Grant Writing and Agile in Nonprofits. Megan has a passion for marketing with a background in business such as; administrative assistant, accounts receivable, and business manager. Megan has worked with large corporations such as Howard Hanna and small privately owned businesses such as Classic Island Cruises. She also volunteers in her small town of Clayton with groups like Rotary and TIERS. In her free time in the summers you can find her out on the river enjoying the boat and spending time with family, during the winters you’ll find her hibernating waiting for boating season to come again.
